Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28th the 28th of October, 1967. Roberts belongs to the Robertses' fourth generation that reside in the Atlanta region, beginning in the family of her grand-father John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. At an early age, her father became interested in theater. When he was in school of Emory University in 1952 he performed in shows on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. When he was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he was inducted into the airforce in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was also in the production. They got married in 2005, and they had their first baby, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957 they quit the Air Force and Walter started his education at Tulane University. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family relocated into Decatur Georgia. In 1964, Walter along with Betty Lou began production on the local Saturday morning children's television show known as Bum Bum and His Buddies which they funded by their own. The Actors and Writers Workshop was established in 1964 and lasted for 6 years. The couple also had two children. Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa), and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also also known by the name Julie).
